Sen. Ron Johnson @ Republican Convention

WLUK FOX 11 |  5-16-16 @ 5 p.m.

The local Democrat Party seems to be running the WLUK FOX 11 assignment desk. Democrats put out a press release or make a call to the station and their attacks on Republican Senator Ron Johnson get coverage.

Ron Johnson seems to be “defending himself” a lot on WLUK these days. Wonder why? Is it because WLUK calls him for a reaction to the most recent attack by Democrats? Funny how Democrat Senate candidate Russ Feingold doesn’t need to “defend himself” because attacks on him get downplayed or spun. This May 16, 2016 story at 5 p.m. is another example of that:

WLUK Anchor: Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson is defending his decision to talk about the 9-11 terror attacks while at the state Republican convention this weekend in Green Bay … Johnson talked about that in the context of the next election … Democrats say the comments were in poor taste and that Johnson should apologize. Johnson said he was in no way comparing his campaign to the heroics of the passengers on Flight 93. He said he was trying to make a connection to heroism and what’s at stake in this upcoming election.

You’ve got to be kidding? This is news according to WLUK?
