Ariens Follow Up; CAIR Gets Involved

NBC 26 1-25-16 @ 5 pm

On January 25, 2016 WGBA NBC 26 reported that Minnesota’s Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is “getting involved” in the complaints of some Muslim workers at the Ariens company in Brillion.

NBC 26 told viewers that CAIR is “taking on the case” and is threatening legal action alleging the company’s two break policy “goes against religious freedom.”

NBC 26 failed to inform viewers that CAIR is an organization which has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. No mention of the fact that several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror or that CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce terrorist groups identified as such by the U.S. government.

Given the controversial nature of this organization, NBC 26 should have given viewers some background so that viewers could weigh CAIR’s credibility.
